If your looking at this guide then you must be either new or still not level 80. Let me start by telling you about the game. When you start the game, you need to choose from two main professions. It’s important that when you select your Professions that they are going to be useful to your character or guild in one way or another. Among all Professions there are different type that favor different classes, like mining and blacksmith for plate wearers. Selecting a profession will allow you to give your character uncommon and epic items without raiding or pvp. It allows you to save your gold from spending at the auction house. In this guide you will learn how to learn mining and where abouts all the mining trainers are located.
Most blue or purple patterns will give you epic gear for leveling without spending a high amount of gold at the auction house or spending hours in dungeon instances. This WoW Minding Guide will help give you a basic tour of the materials, areas, and trainers to help level your mining profession quickly. If you are above the first level cap 60 you will have to visit each of the expansions main cities and learn from both the master skill and grand master skills. These trainers are

Adjacent to mining trainer, buy mining pick from any location that will sell profession gear.
If you want to continue to level your mining then it is suggest that you try and get the most amount of bag space, that you can, so you will be able to level up your mining without having to worry about your bag space.

Leveling your Mining Skill from 1-75 with Alliance(only). At the start you will want to travel to darkshore the night elf area, because it is the best place to level your mining skill up to level 75 which is the first leveling cap in mining. Search along the mountain edge because this is wear you will normally find the most mines. if you follow the eastern mountain edge you will have the highest chance of finding copper, and silver. For mining beginners in Horde at level 1-75, the most compact area of veins for mining is silverpine forest. It’s important when your mining that you stay focused and not let other affect your leveling, mining can be boring to level and many other player will want to fight you for different mines when you rock up both at the same time, try and avoid this. There are ample of needles and veins to get you to the subsequent level. Once you are finished mining in this area make sure that you head towards the barrens. Desolace is a good devoid area like others in iron and gold veins at level 123-175. Bandlands has enough number of caves and mountainous mining area. There is a lot of PVP in Arathi Highlands with farming facilities for veins. Mithril and Truesilver can be found at Tanaris and the lush green land next to it, these both give you the potential to level from 176 to 250. Hinterland also has allot of veins but I personally would avoid the searing gorge even thou it looks like it would be the perfect place for mining. Un’Goro Is great for thorium and same with Un’goro’s neighbour to the left with there underground networks.
Hellfire Peninsula is the prime place to find Fel Iron nodes.
Nagrand is an overabundance of occupation areas for mining. Adamantite is everywhere but Khorium is a rare mine to fine especially in this zone. Khorium is mainly found in the blade edge mountains but if you have the wrath of the lich king expansion then you will also find these mines int he howling Fjord. If you have the other expansion pack then Sholazar Basin is the best place for leveling your mining ability. You need hours to find much in veins and find lots other veins in other levels.
